‘EPT Not Live’ Now Live on PokerStars.com

EPTLive is a favorite show of numerous poker fans in Europe and beyond. Featuring action from the European Poker Tour with commentary from the well-known duo of Joe Stapleton and James Hartigan, EPTLive has earned a place near the top of poker-related content.

The idea behind EPT Not live is very similar, except that there is neither poker nor graphics involved, and more shenanigans. The show is envisioned as a podcast featuring "relevant and irrelevant chat," as described by Hartigan.

While EPTLive focuses more on the serious side of poker and, as such, has earned the title of Favorite Web-Based Poker Show at the BLUFF Reader’s Choice Awards, the non-live variation will focus more on light-hearted content to present listeners with a whole different aspect of poker.

Stapes described the podcast in his own way, saying that "if EPT were a movie, the podcast would be the DVD commentary." This should give you a somewhat clearer picture of what EPT Not Live is all about.

The first episode is available for listening right now, featuring well known MMA fighter Tito Ortiz, who attended this year’s PCA. Ortiz joined the Stapes-Hartigan duo to share some of his thoughts with his huge fan base.

The show can be found on the PokerStars pages and it is also available to iPhone and Android users through the usual channels (iTunes and the podcast app). The podcast will be broadcast on a weekly basis and, as always, those tuning in will be able to interact with the hosts and guests and win some prizes along the way.

EPT fans will have an opportunity to get their hands on some money can’t buy items, like the special Everyone Loves a Chopped Pot T-shirts and more. The podcast will also feature a one-on-one EPT trivia against Stapes, and according to Hartigan’s predictions, listeners will have a big edge there.
