In business news today, the iPoker mega-network FourCubed added another domain to to its ever growing portfolio of online poker resources. The company which already owns, PAS.net, PokerAffiliateListings.net, YourPokerCash.com, will now enjoy access and control of DeucesCracked.com a poker training website with a growing member base, and a healthy host of training videos from big player names like Jay Rosenkrantz, Joe Tall, Dani “Ansky” Stern, and Vanessa Selbst.
DeucesCracked.com is a website geared toward teaching new and amateur players how to take their game from the dining room table to the highroller table without going through the grueling training of slow steady experience. Instead, they supply hundreds of videos that cover both theory and professional play so that players can learn strategy and then see it put directly into action. In addition to their extensive library, they also have a well moderated and helpful forum, a number of interest blogs, and iPoker podcasts.
At the moment FourCubed has not revealed what they plan to do with this new acquisition, but we can already make a few assumptions. Because of both the name recognition and the smaller size of DeucesCracked, it is unlikely that FourCubed will simply subsume the site within another one of its affiliates. More likely, FourCubed will use its considerable advertising power and resources to fuel growth and expansion for the smaller website. Because FourCubed and partners see such an incredible amount of internet traffic, if the network funnels that traffic to DeucesCracked, there will likely be a huge upswing in membership. Moreover, FourCubed may be able to contribute to the video training library quite significantly.
Opposed to these great benefits, there is some concern about what will happen to DeucesCracked’s current members in regard to the new partner sites, and whether or not FourCubed will make any changes to DeucesCracked’s membership prices or policy. However, changes seem unlikely for the moment and if they occur, they will most likely be beneficial.
