FTOPS XXVII Kicking Off End of November

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is back, guaranteeing a total prize pool of more than $4 million across 15 days of play. Daily satellites are now running, with buy-ins from just $0.11 or 100 Full Tilt Points. 30 FTOPS events are scheduled from Sunday, November 30th through Sunday, December 14th.

FTOPS XXVII starts on Sunday, November 30th, with at least $300,000 to play for in the first event. This is a Re-Entry Tournament with a $215 buy-in. Some other tournaments worth mentioning are Event #2, a $109 buy in, $300,000-guaranteed Multi-Day Tournament, which will be a half-Turbo and half-Regular, and Event #29, a $215 buy in, Deep Stack Tournament that gives players 15,000 chips to start and a chance to fight for at least $200,000.

It is not only cash prizes that will be given away during the tournament series. FTOPS Satellite Hero gives players the opportunity to win bonus MiniFTOPS XXVII tickets when they satellite into and cash in any FTOPS event. Each event winner will also get a gold FTOPS jersey and a gold-jersey avatar.
Players who top the FTOPS XXVII leaderboard will get a four-month Black Card Pro sponsorship contract starting on Thursday 1st of January 2015, 100% rake-back on all their play and exclusive Black Card Pro merchandise.
Full Tilt Series of Poker used to be one of the biggest online tournament series neck to neck with the series like SCOOP but has been experiencing a decrease in numbers during the latest editions. This probably has something to do with the fact that Full Tilt (formerly Full Tilt Poker) has been focusing more on offering other games and live casino.
The possible overlay in some of the tournaments is in fact good news for the grinders but may not be such a good thing for the future of the series with the most likely consequence being lowering the guarantees for the future FTOPS editions.
