Full Tilt Remission to Pay $3 Million More in March

Former U.S. Full Tilt players who are still waiting upon reimbursement will be pleased to know that another $3 million is expected to be doled out by the end of March.
In the queue for payment are roughly 3,500 players, 3,100 of whom recently confirmed information to the Garden City Group (GCG) that was previously inaccurate. So stated the head man of Poker Players Alliance, John Pappas, on a 2 + 2 thread devoted to FTP remission issues.
Pappas further advised that some 400 players whose balances had been in dispute with the amount on record with the DoJ and GCG will be part of this latest batch of recipients. Those approximately 400 ex-Full Tilters consist of players with low balances - $500 or less - as well as players whose balance in dispute is 20% or less of the total balance owed.
Around 1,600 petitioners filed disputed claims, which means the 1,200 or so not included in next month's reimbursement must wait longer for the GCG to examine their claims. The 400 in line for payment in March are among the first scheduled to receive outstanding funds that fall under the label of disputed petitions.
Roughly 33,500 former U.S. players have been reimbursed to date in four batches of payments that began on Green Friday in February 2014. Monies received thus far equals about $97 million.
The official Full Tilt Poker Claims website typically provides updates on scheduled payments and such, but has not yet done so regarding the latest payment information as of this writing. Pappas provided the update after speaking with his "DOJ contact."
