Most American players have not had a chance to experience the thrills of online poker in quite a few years. While live poker is booming on US soil, the majority of Americans are still unable to play online. The lucky few living in the newly regulated states have had the chance to return to the online felts, and for players in New Jersey the coming weeks will give them a chance to think back of the days when they played in SCOOP and WCOOP events as the second installment of the Garden State Super Series comes to town.

The series starts on Sunday, January 11th and will open with a $10 6-max No Limit Hold’em event with a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool. Satellite tournaments will be running frequently throughout the series to allow players with limited bankrolls to take their shot at the tournaments, and most of the events will have a top heavy structure allowing winners to take home a big part of the spoils.

The main events of the series will take place on Sunday, January 25th and players will have to be physically present in New Jersey to take part in them. Any players living in nearby states can also participate, but will have to cross over into the New Jersey border to join in the fun.

New Jersey is the third state to have legalized online poker, with Party Poker and Borgata being on the front lines of this new poker awakening. Nevada and Delaware have also seen poker legalized and hopefully interstate online poker tournaments will become a reality in the USA in the future, and a million dollars will be a guaranteed prize pool of single tournaments once more.
