GUKPT Set for Luton

The Grosvenor Casino Luton, near London, is currently playing host to the 7th leg of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour this week, with most eyes set on the Main Event starting this Thursday 17th September.
The £1090 buy-in event is the star attraction, with a £200,000 ($308,000) guaranteed prize-pool and two separate starting day 1’s, leading up to the weekend’s play.
Last year’s Main Event drew a host of the UK’s top players, but it was 26-year old Adam Reynolds who walked away with the title and first prize of £53,500 ($82,500). Reynolds joined household names such as Neil Channing and Sam Trickett on the GUKPT champions honour-roll.
Aside from the big NLHE Main Event, the Luton leg of the tour - now in its 9th year - has a wide variety of side events and satellites, which include a £300 Side Event, 4/5/6 Omaha, £75+£75 bounty and more.
The GUKPT has already visited London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Reading and Leeds this year and after this week’s Luton leg, the tour heads off to Blackpool in November, and then finishes the season with the £400K-guaranteed Grand Final in London at the Grosvenor Victoria.
