High Five Series Doubles Up to $10 Million on ACR
09 Apr

The incredible High Five Series on Americas Card Room is to double the guarantee up to a whopping $10 million.

As April 20th approaches it’s time for the annual 420 celebration, if you’re that way inclined, and ACR are doing it in “smokin’” style with another of their great festivals.

No Time to Waste

The High Five Series is already into Day Three and we have seen a great spread of buy ins for the players. As usual, there is something suitable for everyone. On ACR nobody gets left out.

For 20 days there will be five added value tournaments on the schedule, offering players 100 chances to boost their bankrolls significantly.

There will also be the usual spread of satellites to jump into events that are normally outside of your bankroll. For a miniscule investment you can play these tournaments and end up playing in one of the main events with a chance to win life changing money.

Of course, there are also the Blitz Cyclones satellites to consider. We have written extensively on this fresh, exciting new format and it stands to replace the old style system across major platforms.

How can the main players in online poker not want to copy this amazing idea?

Simply buy in for a few big blinds and ramp up your stack to 5,000 chips and move up to the next level. If you fancy a break, no problem, this is fast fold poker and you can jump in and out as you see fit.

Sunday Major Main Events

Each Sunday major has a huge $840,000 guarantee. Check out the schedule below to make sure you keep space free in your diary.

  • Sunday, April 12th - High Five #28 $420 + $30 4:00 PM
  • Sunday, April 19th - High Five #63 $420 + $30 4:00 PM
  • Sunday, April 26th - High Five #98 $420 + $30 4:00 PM

Something For Everyone

The range of buy ins is as inclusive as you could wish for. From barely more than $1 to enter there are also events for thousands of dollars

Not only that, but alongside the usual NL, PLO mix we always see, ACR will be trying to resurrect the great game of 7 card stud

Could we possibly see a full selection of mixed games in the future? If anybody would be so brave to try it surely ACR will first.

All the details of everything you might need to know for this festival can be found here.
