645 players are ready to line up at the start of Day 2 of ACR’s $10 million GTD to fight for a slice of the site’s biggest ever prize pool. The four Day 1 starting flights got off to a slow start, but last night saw almost 1,600 players jump in at the last minute to stake their claim for a seat in today’s action.

$10 Million Prize Pool

When Day 1A started Phil Nagy might have been thinking he’d made a mistake raising the guarantee by 25%. But momentum built up and last night’s final flight was a good showing with 288 players making it through to join the 357 combined from the first three days.

The total number of entries was 3,930 players, which built a prize pool of $9,825,000, narrowly missing the guarantee, but still creating the biggest ever prize pot in ACR’s history.

This contrasts with the January edition where 3,774 entries built a $9,435,000 prize pool, breaking the then record.

Today will see an 11-hour session, after which tomorrow’s play will continue until the final table is all set.

On Wednesday, August 4, will see a later start of 5pm ET, with play continuing until we have a winner.
