The partypoker weekly newsletter dropping through virtual postboxes this week is a jam-packed edition, with news about huge VIP rakeback, the newly-launched $1million special edition SPINS, as well as partypoker LIVE tour news and much, much more...

Diamond Club Elite VIP

Kicking off the February headlines was the introduction of an Elite VIP club for the highest-volume players on partypoker – a huge 60% rakeback for the most committed, and massive bonuses for reaching milestones and winning cashback races.

The day before the launch, partypoker MD Tom Waters and Dusk Till Dawn supremo Rob Yong entertained some VIP guests at the Nottingham casino, with Team partypoker pros Ludovic Geilich and Betrand ‘ElkY’ Grospelier among those attending.

The full benefits of Diamond Club Elite VIP status can be found here, but the biggest draw for many will be the race to be first to reach the $200k rakeback target in both SPINS games and cash / fastforward games - 100% rakeback the reward for the two winners!

$5 buy-in, $1M jackpot SPINS launch

Barely a day later, the announcement that partypoker have revamped their SPIN AND GO JACKPOTS games into SPINS reached us, launching with a mega $1million jackpot for the $5 buy-in, quickfire SNG.

With slicker animation and a much-improved playing experience, SPINS are likely to prove very popular - $1million prizes tend to have that effect! – but there’s the additional draw of the festival tickets that can be won for the $15million KO Series which kicked off at the weekend.

$1,050 buy-in seats are up for grabs, a cut-price $2.50 buy-in all it will cost you.

$15m GTD KO Series kicks off

As mentioned above, the evergreen KO Series hit the online tables, a $15million guaranteed festival with the lucrative PKO bounty element more than doubling some of the winners payouts.

With 437 events across buy-ins from $2.20 up to $3,150, the fortnight-long series will culminate in the $500k GTD PKO tournament on 17 February. It starts at 19:00 CET so be sure to add it to your diary.

MyGame poker coaching tool

Before we get to the latest partypoker LIVE happenings, a quick rundown of the changes from the latest software update (the useful ‘boring’ stuff!). Players should note that the MyGame tab is on the newly-added navigation bar in the Windows desktop client.

If MyGame is new to you, it’s a very useful interactive poker coaching tool – ranking your play and letting you know where – and importantly how to fix – the leaks in your game.

Irish Open satellites up-and-running

The Irish Open descends upon Dublin’s luxurious Citywest Hotel from 15-22 April 2019 and the reason it gets a mention this far in advance is that partypoker have launched their online satellites to win your way in.

Sunday 10th February sees the first of the €109 weekly Sunday Finals, and the daily ‘phase’ satties to reach that step are up and running as we speak.

The Sunday finals offer 20 x €1,150 Main Event seats GTD, so climbing your way up the satellite ladder could pay off big-time, with 27 events and a €1m GTD flagship Main Event on April 17th the ultimate goal.

A €2k buy-in High Roller (17 April), €350 Heads-Up event (April 16-17) and €250 Ladies Open (18 April) are just some of the other attractions at Ireland’s premier live poker festival.

WSOP Circuit heads to Dusk Till Dawn from 31 March to 14 April 2019

If you are looking for a live poker series in the spring outside of Ireland, then the partypoker LIVE/WSOP Circuit partnership at UK's Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham could be the very one for you.

With a £1k buy-in Main Event offering a guaranteed cool £1million in prizemoney, you’ll be looking at playing 8th to 14th April in England’s premier cardroom

Either side of those dates you have a mass of tournaments to keep you occupied, the always-popular £330 ‘Colossus’ (4-9 April), as well as a £5k Super High Roller (8-9 April) and £2k High Roller (13-14 April).

Remember, there are WSOP Circuit rings up for grabs as well as huge cash, and you can find the full schedule here.

That’s already a pretty full newsletter - and calendar - from the partypoker crew, but we’ll be back again next week to see if they have thought of any more excellent ideas!
