Jason Somerville has launched a new show format on his TwitchTV channel. The exciting new look show features a player wearing a head camera while he commentates live on the action.

Starting out in early 2014, Somerville was the original poker streamer who really gave birth to the genre. Now with 233k followers, he still commands respect as the man who shows how it should all be done.

Popular streamers such as Jeff Gross and Jaime Staples give credit to Somerville for inspiring them to take the plunge themselves.

Somerville is no run of the mill player though. With more than $2.2 million in online tournament winnings, the 32-year-old American has also added success in the live arena. More than $3.6 million in cashes, plus a much coveted World Series of Poker gold bracelet for a $1,000 NL win in 2011, makes him a player to be feared.

Subscribers to Somerville’s channel can also expect plenty of cash game action, including home games where he will play himself.

There’s always plenty to see on TwitchTV with Somerville at the helm. Well worth checking out.
