Josh Hart Claims the UKIPT Isle of Man Title
9 years ago07 Oct
The UKIPT event on the Isle of Man has come to a conclusion. The final eight players made their moves, played their cards and this is how it went down before Josh Hart claimed the winner’s title.
Ludovic Geilich was eliminated in eight place for a prize of £8,000
Geilich moved all in with A-8 of clubs after Hart’s raise from UTG+1 with A-K of diamonds. He was first out of the final table, the Ts 6s 6h flop gave some chop opportunities but 3 of hearts and J of clubs didn’t help Geilich to split or win this hand.
Thx for all the support :) Greatly appreciated and gl
@fintangavin hope he gets the double

Thomas Ward eliminated in 7th place collecting £11,200
Thomas Ward moved all in with AT off suit on Gavin’s raise with AQ of hearts. The board 8s 5s Jc 6h 3c kept Gavin in front and eliminated Ward in seventh place.
Josef Snejberg eliminated in 6th place for £14,900
With pocket aces, Snejberg min-raised from UTG and Hart called from the big blind with T-7 of clubs. Hart hits two pair on the flop as suited cards have been working well for him. Following Hart’s value check-raise to 203,000, with one million chips Snejberg moved all in and Hart snap-called. Boar bricked out two blank cards, and there was nothing he could do. Unlucky for Sejberg.
Marc Radgen eliminated in 5th place for £19,300
With a stack of 542,000, Marc moved all in with AT off suit, and Hill moved all in behind and turned over the dominating AK. The board was great for the better hand, and Radgen was eliminated 5th.
Fintan Gavin eliminated in 4th place collecting £24,400
Gavin was short–stacked and went for double up with Q-9 of hearts, and ran into Hart’s A-J off-suit. No double title for Gavin, as the board of Ac Td 6h 7s Qc didn’t do him any favors, sending him to the rail in 4th.
Bust final table in 4th. Thanks so much to everyone for the support. Going to have a drink with @Tomelwardy to discuss his jam with A10.

David Hill eliminated in 3rd place for a prize of £30,200
After Hill limped KT off suit from the button he proceeded to call Hart’s raise from small blin. Hart played continuation bet on the Ad Kc 4s flop, Hill double raised him and Hart called. 6 of clubs came on the turn, both players checked it. River brought a 9 of diamonds and Hill moved all in over Hart’s bet, only to be promptly called by Hart who turned a set of sixes, cutting David’s UKIPT adventure short.
Josh Hart Claims the Title
Two remaining players Ciaran Heaney and Josh Hart have done a heads-up deal and have adjusted the pay structure as follows: Josh Hart with a stack of 4,385,000 in chips – £52,484 and £50,216 for Heaney and his stack of 3,454,000 in chips.
After good heads up action and lot of swings for both players, Hart has stretched out to nine to one chip lead. It was all over when Heaney raised to 225,000 with KJ off-suit, Hart pushed his all chips in the middle with A-3 of hearts and Heaney called it off. The board ran 2s 8s 3d 6c 6h granting Hart the title of the UKIPT Isle of Man champion and another 5,000 in prize money!
Congratulations to Josh Hart, UKIPTIoM champion who won £57,484 after beating Ciaran Heaney heads up! pic.twitter.com/5QRtGcSRZT
