The success of the inaugural "King of the Hill" competition in August that saw four top poker pros put up $50,000 and play heads-up under a winner-take-all format has prompted Poker Night in America to do it all over again this October in a King of the Hill II.

The undisputed champ who holds the King of the Hill belt is none other than Phil Hellmuth, who disposed of Doug Polk in Round One before taking home the $200,000 prize by topping Dan “Jungleman” Cates in the second round after staging a thrilling comeback. The "Poker Brat" will defend his title against three new pros - Shaun Deeb, Olivier Busquet and Parker “Tonkaaaap" Talbot in the King of the Hill redux.

Don't Bet Against White Magic

Hellmuth shocked observers when he overcame a more than 30 to 1 disadvantage in chips to send Jungleman home as a $50K loser. Can the 14-time WSOP champ remain atop the hill against this trio of new challengers? Busquet, Deeb and Talbot all have impressive poker resumes of their own, the latter primarily as an online poker pro.

The action will take place October 6th & 7th at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a live stream on Twitch under an approximate 30-minute delay. A random drawing to determine first round opponents will be held prior to the contest via Facebook Live on PNIA's page.

Here is the schedule provided by Poker Night in America:

October 6

  • Semi-Finals Round 1 - 6pm ET - Twitch Stream at 6:45pm ET
  • Semi-Finals Round 2 - 9pm ET - Twitch Stream at 9:30pm ET

October 7

  • Finals - 6pm ET - Twitch Stream at  6:45pm ET
