MicroMillions 10 Coming Soon on PokerStars

There are many things that make PokerStars the place to be for online poker players, especially for those pursuing multi-table tournaments. Big fields, huge guaranteed prize pools and tournaments running around the clock tick all the boxes on an MTT grinder’s sheet. On top of all that, there is a variety of buy-ins, from the smallest of the micro stakes to exclusive high roller events.

MicroMillions leans more towards the former. It is a tournament series for those with smaller bankrolls but good stamina and willingness to grind away. Players clearly love it since it will be coming back for the 10th time from March 19 – 29.

The Series will feature a total of 100 events and $5 million in guaranteed prizes. One fifth of that guarantee is reserved for the $22 Main Event boasting a cool $1 million guarantee. The Main will take place on the last day of the Series, as is customary, with a number of different events leading up to it.

From standard MTTs to Zoom, Hyper-Active and Bubble Dash formats, MicroMillions will offer something to fit everyone’s taste and preference. Event #5 will feature a Zoom format and $75,000 guarantee for a buy-in of just $5.50; Event #11, with the buy-in of $11 and playing out at the 6-max tables, guarantees a prize pool of $100k and the list goes on.

There is also a variety of games offered, so those who prefer Pot Limit Omaha, Stud, 8-game and the other “non-standard” formats will not be left for dry. There is plenty to choose from.

MicroMillions leaderboard will track the results across all the 100 hundred events, additionally awarding the most consistent player. The winner will receive six months worth of $215 Sunday Million tickets, places 2 through 9 nine will receive five Sunday Million tickets each, while everybody else who makes it to top 100 will receive one additional Sunday Million ticket.

So far, MicroMillions Series has had more than 12 million entries, awarded almost $75 million in prize money and the biggest prize won by a player in a MicroMillions event was $160,000. It was ‘stygher’ from Hungary who took home the prize after the MicroMillions 5 Main Event.

Full schedule for the Series has now been released and is available on PokerStars pages. The satellites are also running around the clock and there is plenty of time still to qualify and get to play for pennies. Let the grind begin!
