POWERFEST X on the horizon

Live poker may be top of the agenda for many just now with the WSOP halfway through, but partypoker’s POWERFEST X is waiting in the wings – July 28th ‘til August 11th the dates for your diaries.

The 10th edition of the massively-popular online festival will have details released soon, but safe to say there will be huge guarantees and tournaments for every size of bankroll across a host of game types.

Bots on the run as crackdown continues

The partypoker battle against the bots continues apace, May seeing 42 account closures and close to $50,000 seized across the entire network.

One in six of the bot finds was due to player vigilance, the rest thanks to partypoker’s specialist Poker Fraud Team – the site keeping its promise to ‘investigate all incidents reported’. 

partypoker LIVE experiment with online Main Event format

In a bid to make playing live events much cheaper and easier for those with day jobs, Rob Yong recently revealed a trial format that lets players play day one and two of the LIVE ME’s either live or online.

Survivors of the opening two days – already guaranteed a cash - would then meet to play the rest of the event out live at the host venue. Details of the PP LIVE ‘masterplan’ can be found here.

partypoker’s big boys and girls at the WSOP

With the 2019 WSOP well underway, fans of the partypoker Team pros and Team Online have had plenty of opportunities to sweat their heroes.

Anatoly Filatov has secured six cashes so far, with Kristen Bicknell, Ludovic Geilich, ElkY, Patrick Leonard and Joao Simao all hot on his heels.

MILLIONS Vegas set to kick off on June 28th

What happens in Vegas…probably won’t stay there! The Team partypoker squad of Kristen Bicknell, Ludovic Geilich, Sam Trickett, Anatoly Filatov, Joao Simao, Roberto Romanello and Richard Dubini will all be hoping for some winning reports to escape at least.

That’s because the $5million guaranteed MILLIONS Vegas Main Event is all set for a June 28th start, the $10k buy-in tournament mirroring the other MILLIONS LIVE ME’s and running until July 2nd.
