Americas Cardroom has released a new poker documentary on YouTube that chronicles the journeys of ACR Team Pros as they navigate high stakes tournament action at the Triton Super High Roller series in Vietnam.

Following the success of the three-part documentary that featured Ebony Kenney winning just shy of $2 million at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Cyprus last September, ACR boss Phil "P-Dawg" Nagy decided to run it twice and make some more dreams come true for loyal ACR players and his Team Pros.

Americas Cardroom awarded $100,000 prize packages to seven players. Also earning packages were ACR Team Pros Jonathan "apestyles" Van Fleet, Ana Marquez, Jeff "Boski" Sluzinski, Monica Zukowicz, and ACR Stormer and Twitch streamer Mark "weazel" Rubbathan.

"I wish to God that somebody gave me the opportunities that I'm in a position to give to other people," Nagy stated.

A Tearjerker

The new Triton Vietnam documentary tugs on the heartstrings of viewers the same way that the Kenney three-parter did. Heartfelt moments are plenty as we see both Sluzinski and Nagy get teary-eyed and emotional while describing the ups and downs of tournament poker and life-changing opportunities.

The typically stoic Boski showed his softer side after busting several events and hatching a plan to sell 90% of his action to take a shot in a $25K buy-in turbo tournament. With his plan just getting underway, he received news that Nagy was footing the entry fees for all of his ACR charges in that event.

Boski made the most of his opportunity, making the final table and cashing in 7th place for $121,000. He was joined there by Ana Marquez, who was also featured in the documentary.

The lovely Spaniard was ousted just prior to Boski in 8th place for $92,300. Marquez also found time to practice yoga while away from the felt in Vietnam, telling viewers her favorite yoga "position" - that actually had nothing to do with yoga.

Weazel Wins

But the real star of the ACR Triton Vietnam adventure entitled "A $100,000 Journey to Becoming a Poker Champion" was Mark "weazel" Rubbathan. The ACR Stormer binked the $20K NLHE Mystery Bounty event for $396,000.

“It’s completely surreal," Rubbathan said. "I just keep getting good hands and going all in. I’m running obscenely well."
Weazel had 10 draws in the mystery bounty pool and added $240,000 more to his winnings. His poker dreams came true in Vietnam, including a call from Chris Moneymaker following his victory.
“Although I wasn’t there in person, it was an honor to congratulate Mark on his life-changing win on FaceTime," Moneymaker said. "It was great to share in the excitement, knowing how epic it is to have that first major score.”
