High stakes cash game action online has claimed its first $1 million loser of 2018 as an unknown player under the screen name of 'ImagineKing' surpassed the threshold on PokerStars and is in the red $1,179,564 so far this year.

Benefiting from ImagineKing's lack of poker prowess in 2018 have been some well-known high stakes crushers such as Rui 'PepperoniF' Cao. He and Ignat '0Human0' Liviu have been taking it to ImagineKing, mainly at Pot Limit Omaha tables at stakes of $100/$200 and $200/$400.

While ImagineKing is undoubtedly having a bad year, his career online results since 2011 show that 2018 is likely not a fluke. He's donated $2.7 million to fellow nosebleed players in that time.

How About Winners?

While we have yet to see a $1 million winner yet this year, we do know that Linus 'LinusLLove' Loeliger may be the first to claim that unofficial title, according to HighStakesDB.com. As of this writing, LinusLLove has increased his bankroll by $720,037 while playing more than 33K hands at PokerStars.

Loeliger's game of choice has been $200/$400 No Limit. His account shows winnings of $1,350,618 since being tracked in 2016. Trailing LinusLLove in the top winners category are 'EEE27' with $380,691 and James 'JapY-AA' Park at $316,630 in the black.
