To complement its recent software update, Party Poker also launched a new and improved Power Series tournament schedule that boosted weekly guarantees from $4 million to $10 million.
The new Power Series schedule isn't a series with your typical starting and ending dates, but rather the name given to Party Poker's weekly tournament schedule. The line-up is loaded with Party's most popular events, which are all centered around a daily theme.
For instance, Knockout Monday features an abundance of Progressive KO tournaments, delighting the poker-playing bounty hunters. Big Tuesday offers a number of big money tournaments, including a $1,050 High Roller with a $200,000 guarantee.
The daily themes continue with intense action on short-handed tables on 6-Max Wednesday. Another massive High Roller is on tap on Big Thursday, guaranteeing $200,000 in prize money for players who put up the $1,050 entry fee or win their seat via a satellite.
The weekend kicks off with Fight Night Friday where the biggest tournaments follow a 6-max Progressive KO format. Smooth Saturday features smaller blind increases from one level to the next, providing a smoother structure.
Sunday is the biggest day of the week for tournament players and Party Poker dubbed Super Sunday as the theme name. Take your pick among the following Sunday tournaments:
- Super Sunday Early Edition
- Super Sunday Kick-Off
- Super Sunday Warm-Up
- Super Sunday Main Event
- Super Sunday Big Bounty Hunter
- Super Sunday Second Chance
- Super Sunday Late Edition
- Super Sunday Finale
Buy-ins for the Power Series start as low as $1.10 on up to $2,100. Party Poker analyzed the types of tournaments that players enjoy the most and rolled them all into a daily-themed schedule, including boosting the guarantees to $10 million.
While the new Power Series tourney schedule has something for everyone, don't forget that the Daily Majors, Daily Bounty Hunters and Daily Turbos remain available as well.
