PartyPoker Launches New Monster Series with $5,000,000 Guaranteed

PartyPoker announced The Monster Series, a new online tournament series that offers low to mid-stakes players a chance to compete for a huge $5,000,000 guarantee across multiple tournaments. The brand new 11-day tournament series will run from October 21st to the 31st, with buy-ins ranging from $1,10 to $215. 

The Monster Series will feature a variety of events and formats on a schedule devised by PartyPoker's Bryan Slick based on player's feedback. In his own words: 

"Players have been asking for a mid-stakes series for a very long time, and we're delighted to be able to provide it at PartyPoker, while also providing a first-ever micro-stakes series for our players.  With a total guarantee of $5,000,000, the new series is going to give thousands of players many chances to compete for serious prizes across nearly two weeks of amazing poker!"

The schedule will include: 

• Rebuy and re-entry tournaments, 
  
• Progressive Knockouts, 
• Pot Limit Omaha, 
• Omaha Hi-Low, 
• Turbos and hyper-turbos, 
• Heads-up shootouts,
• Deep stack tournaments, 
• Mix-max,  
• Monster Rake Race.

But what is the Monster Rake Race? It's a chance for cash game players to battle it out for Monster Series tickets and a share of the prize pool.

From October 12th to 22nd for Low and Mid stakes levels and October 21st- 31st for High stakes level, cash game players can earn leaderboard points by playing the fastfoward games to win over $100,000 in cash and tickets. 

The Monster series will be split into two stake levels, micro and mid, each with its own Main Event. However, all the events will have their own schedule and guarantees ranging from $1,000 to $100,000.  Players will also be able to enter via satellites, no matter how ''Micro'' the tournament.

The Micro Schedule boasts a total guarantee of one million dollars divided across 70 tournaments. Buy-ins range from $1.10 to $22 and the very first event will take place on Saturday, October 21. It will be a $1.10 No Limit Hold'em re-entry tournament with $4.000 guaranteed. The Main Event which will take place on Sunday, October 29th, and it's a $22 single entry buy-in with $300,000 guaranteed.

On the other hand, the mid-schedule has a total guarantee of four million dollars divided across 70 tournaments. Buy-ins range from $11 to $215, the first event will have a $22 buy-in with a $20,000 guarantee and it will take place, same as with the micros, on Sunday, October 21. The Main Event will also take place on the same day as its ‘’micro’’ namesake - Saturday, October 29th- but it comes with a great $100,000 guarantee.
