Partypoker Return With Epic $10million KO Series

It’s back with a bang – or rather a $10million knockout blow! It’s the partypoker KO series, featuring 224 events including 40 for fans of PLO, and a ‘something for everyone’ range of buy-ins, the focus on big bounties and bigger prizemoney!
Kicking off this weekend, November 18th, and running until the 25th, the hugely-popular series will follow the exciting – and lucrative - “Progressive Knockout” (PKO) tournament format, where everyone has a bounty on their head.
How PKO tournaments work
It’s pretty simple, but at the same time extremely exciting. When you KO a player, you add half of their bounty to your own winnings. The other 50% gets added to the bounty on your own head – the more you win, the bigger a target you are!
Player feedback has been a huge part of partypoker’s rise to the top of online poker, and the rake-free bounties are part of that.
Team partypoker’s well-known pro Patrick ‘plenopads’ Leonard explained:
“As there is no rake on the bounty element this means even more value for the players”.
Leonard added of the upcoming online festival:
"After the success of the first KO Series and the feedback we got from the players it was certain partypoker were going to run it again. The format has grown in popularity and I am really looking forward to the next series dedicated solely to this”.
Buy-ins to suit every bankroll
There are 5 tiers to the partypoker KO buy-ins, running from ‘Micro’ to ‘High Roller’, so that’s a lowly $1.10 all the way up to $1,050, giving players of every level and standard a chance to take part – and win.
Sunday specials and PLO
Book-ending the KO series will be the $2million+ Sundays, headlined by three separate $300k GTD events. Buy-ins of $109, $530 and $1,050 will guarantee a ton of action and some huge winners to open and close the festival.
Pot-Limit Omaha fans won’t be left out in the cold either, 40 separate events for them probably being a record for any series anywhere, so if PLO is your game of choice then the KO series is perfect for you.
Leaderboards and Jackpots!
Every great series needs to have a leaderboard, and this one is no different, tickets worth up to $1,050 up for grabs for the most consistent winners and deep-runners throughout the week.
The KO Series SNG Jackpots also offer the high value tickets as prizes, but the big bonus here is that you can double your money by making the final table.
There’s much more going on besides and with 224 tournaments it’s going to be a hectic week for most players, and if you need more information about the KO Series, click here.
