A Twitch TV poker streamer from Albania has made an impassioned plea to PokerStars after seeing the best day of his life ruined when the online giants blocked his account, his $28,869.48 winnings from the Sunday MILLION inaccessible and no response forthcoming from the Stars team…

Ermir 'Miry1313' Dunga was ecstatic following his deep run to 5th spot a week past Sunday, a huge chunk of PokerStars own blog report devoted to the self-taught Albanian amateur. Two days later, however, he was left in limbo…

The 27-year-old cryptocurrency account manager was interviewed by Jason Kirk for the PS blog after his final table run, an incredible story of a player from one of the poorest countries in Europe hitting a big payday.

“I never played live tournaments or cash games, just online in front of my PC,” Dunga told Kirk. “I never did training for poker, just came from play money to real money".

Dunga revealed that competing in the $109 buy-in Sunday Million was often way beyond his bankroll:

“I usually watch the Sunday Million even when I am not playing,” he explained, “so it was a dream for me to participate in it.”

That participation would see Ermir pick up 40 TwitchTV subscribers on the day alone, a record, for him, 450 viewers tuning in to his run at glory.

“I cannot say for sure, but this is probably the best day of my life,” says Ermir, but that has all changed since PokerStars blocked his account.

Several of those who followed his Sunday Million Twitch stream have come out with public support for the young Albanian, one tweeting…

…but others have been quick to explain that PokerStars’ ToS gives them multiple ways to avoid coughing up…

You might think, though, that with his play all there to be reviewed on Ermir’s TwitchTV channel and the subsequent PS blog interview, PokerStars might at least have the common decency to contact the man directly.

If others are to be believed, however, taking to Twitter may just be the first hoop Ermir has to jump through to get his account unlocked

Update: Just as we went to press with this story, Ermir tweeted that the community pressure had a result... his account and prizemoney unblocked!
