It may not be the biggest prop bet ever seen in the world of poker, but with Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and NBA star Stephen Curry in the mix it’s certainly one of the most interesting for poker players…

…and one that last year’s WSOP Main Event champ Scott Blumstein, as well as prop bet rival Ryan Feldman, thinks is a win/win situation for regardless of who emerges victorious in the $1000 even money wager…

Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, of course, needs no introduction in the poker world and he did emerge from his years of relative invisibility to play on last year’s televised Poker after Dark, taking up where he left off in the $100,000 minimum buy-in cash game which also featured Andrew Robl, Doyle Brunson, Jean-Robert Bellande, Bill Klein and Lauren Roberts.

“The game played a little bigger today – a lot more raising and re-raising versus the multi-way pots like yesterday,” Dwan explained, adding. “Luckily, it worked out alright for me.”

Whether or not Blumstein can persuade Dwan to play Live at the Bike is another matter altogether.

Stephen Curry, on the other hand, is known for his NBA skills as a Golden State Warriors guard…

... although his poker pedigree naturally isn’t a match for Dwan’s.

He does, however, play the game – road trips seeing him taking on fellow basketball favourites such as Marreese Speights, Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut, while his twitter has seen Zynga poker appear, although Curry was a bit surprised by his avatar back in the day…

…and he seems like he’d be popular enough among poker players to take a seat at the regular cash game the Bicycle Casino put on and livestream to fans across the globe…

Some think the prop bet between Blumstein and Feldman might become a moot point, neither able to persuade their chosen star to appear, but Feldman apparently has a ‘secret’…

…and it’s hardly a well-kept one either…

so the clever money has to be shoved slightly Feldman’s way. Either way, if Dwan or Curry were to appear it would be a huge bonus for the LatB crew and one sure to please fans everywhere.
