Quads Over Quads Hand Live Streamed on Twitch

A €1/€2 cash game at Unibet Poker provided plenty of excitement for site ambassador David K. Lappin and his Twitch followers who were tuned into the live stream.
One particular hand ranks right up there among perhaps the sickest hands ever dealt while a player was engaged with viewers on the popular gaming and poker streaming platform. Unfortunately for Lappin and his opponent, there was no Bad Beat Jackpot in play when he was dealt pocket aces and the flop was a sight to behold, showing K-A-A.
Poker Dream
Connecting with quads on the flop is a dream come true for poker players, with the next line of thinking typically centered around how to extract the most cash from fellow tablemates. Much to the delight of Lappin, one of his opponents not only played along, but was initiating the betting while acting first since Lappin was on the button.
When another king appeared on the turn, the hand became even more interesting, especially since Lappin's opponent came out firing, betting €51 of his €203 stack.
"Please give him pocket kings!" Lappin exclaimed several times while the action was unfolding.
After calling his opponent's bet on the turn, the jack of spades on the river was cause for concern, as the flopped cards showed spades on both an ace and a king, creating a possible royal flush for Lappin's rival.
That rival shoved his remaining cash into the pot, with Lappin having him covered and dutifully making the call, while hoping against hope that his quad aces were still good. They were, as Lappin got his wish when his opponent revealed K-K.
"Ahhhh, quads over quads! Where's my Bad Beat Jackpot," cried Lappin. "Unibet, I want all the money."
Uhm, no, without a BBJ in play, Lappin had to settle for the pot of €571, and being on the positive side of a bad beat story.
