SC$15million Won in Global Poker’s Jackpot Sit’n’Go Tournaments

Global Poker have just announced some amazing numbers from their Jackpot Sit’n’Go tournaments and they make for incredible reading – more than SC$15 million handed out in prizes since the launch in February of this year…

The quick-fire Jackpot Sit’n’Go’s on the leading US-facing poker site have been dubbed ‘the most rewarding experience you can have online with two other people’ – and although that might be debatable, the stats certainly aren’t!

In May alone players have won over SC$2.9 million, the original SC$100,000 top jackpot doubled to SC$200k, with the most recent winners scooping over SC$60,000 from a collective buy-in of just SC$30.

Global Poker Sit’n’Go tournaments explained

If you haven’t tried the Global Poker Sit’n’Go tournaments yet, the premise is pretty simple, and works the same across the play money Gold Coin (GC) and real money $weeps Cash™ (SC$) tables:

  • Buy-ins: These cover the whole range - GC500, GC2,000, GC6,000, GC15,000, GC50,000 and SC$2, SC$6, SC$12, SC$20, SC$50 and SC$100
  • Tables: You can play up to 4 tables at once, increasing your chances of a big win
  • Multiplier: This is what decides your prizepool, a random spin that chooses from 2 times up to 2000 times your buy-in

The Big One

At the biggest buy-in, SC$100 for real money players and GC50,000 for play money acolytes, when you hit the 2000x multiplier you are playing for life-changing money – a share of SC$200,000 or GC100 million.

No-one goes away empty-handed here, with 1st place taking 75% of the massive prizefund, 2nd place getting 15% and 3rd spot a very decent 10%.

That means, for a few minutes play, the winner scoops SC$150,000 (or GC75 million in very useful play money).

Global Poker have already seen hundreds of thousands of US players experience the thrill of a Jackpot Sit’n’Go Tournament – the site’s ethos being ‘dedicated to giving online social poker players the best experience possible across a range of poker variants’.
