Californian Scott Ball mangled the opposition at ACR’s Cage Live event in Costa Rica over the weekend, running up a record-breaking $60,000 in the time-limited cash game tournament…

Pot Limit Omaha was the order of the day as the ACR crew enjoyed the bi-monthly jaunt to the Costa Rican capital of San José, mixing poker with dinner and live music meetups over the weekend.

Ball was one of the very first players to bring poker to TwitchTV and he wasn’t alone in San Jose, Thirst Lounge host and streamer Adam ITSPAYDAY Neal among several well-known names to take part…

Vanessa Kade was among them, the popular Canadian player promising half of her winnings to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, and still finding time to chill at the ACR party with Andy Milonakis

At the tables, day one saw Scott Ball move into a commanding lead, building a stack more than double almost anyone else – with Leif Force the only player remotely in contention.

Among the pros were numerous ACR satellite winners, enjoying their Cage Live experience after scooping live packages worth $8340, including buy-ins, airfares, spending money and much more besides.

Watching over it all and bringing the action to ACR and poker fans back home were the commentary team of Justin FatTrain Kelly and TheHopGrenade

When day two dawned there would have been quite a few hoping to rein in Ball’s lead, but despite their best efforts that simply didn’t happen – Ball imperious as he pulled away to land an emphatic victory…

With the next ACR Cage Live scheduled for December, and also a PLO event, there will be plenty of chances for revenge, and if you fancy having a go at joining them then check out ACR here to book your San Jose ticket!
