The Dutch fans’ favourite had been thrilling Twitch with his play throughout the first two days of the WCOOP biggie, a $1.5 million prize waiting up top and fellow PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu as eager as the other 32,839 viewers who were tuned in for Veldhuis to go all the way …


…with TwitchTV poker record-holder Jason ‘JCarver’ Somerville also among those cheering from the sidelines…


The horrendous bad beat above, however, put paid to a dream ending for all involved, the runner-runner flush seeing Veldhuis hit the rails in 58th spot for $28,632.35, but it was a day - and a stream - to remember for poker fans!
