The 11th season of the highly-successful Online Poker League (OPL) is almost set to kick-off, and there will be $25,000 in prizes for the best and brightest who take on the challenge of the world’s biggest online poker league.

February 28th is the date for your diaries, a 10-day cardfest across major poker rooms, with the high-profile US-facing ACR, long-time OPL regular GUTS and the newest big money site HighStakes among the rooms taking part.

For those new to the OPL, each site offers tournaments at various different buy-ins, players not only winning cash and bonus prizes, but gaining points towards the all-important leaderboard race.

As usual, the OPL season kicks off with a freebie for all its players – a $200 freeroll on each of the participating poker sites just to get the ball rolling.

Each day after that 28th February opener, all sites will be upping the buy-in levels - $5, $10, $15 and $25 entry fees, with the prizes of course heading upwards as well.

The $25 buy-in season finales feature $1000 added prizefunds, and it’s likely the leaderboard points race will come down to who can run deepest when the pressure is on over the last day or two.

Season 10 saw psion87 squeeze out a narrow top of the table spot, 10 points ahead of Pilsen71, with popular TwitchTV streamer – and newly signed HighStakes ambassador – Ryan 'RSchoonbaert' Schoonbaert taking 3rd on the overall points podium.

It’s only a week away, so if you want to get involved in the biggest online poker league in the world, check out the OPL site here to sign up.
