Poker podcasts have been a great source of entertainment for many years. If you don’t feel like playing then a podcast is ideal.

Education, entertaining, and even behind the scenes—they are all out there waiting to be discovered.

If there’s any scandals going on you can also be certain that one of the producers is playing detective. Poker podcasts are your go to place for anything currently relevant in the poker world.

Here are PokerTube’s top five poker podcasts to watch in 2021, in no particular order.

#1 The Chip Race

The most entertaining podcast on our list is The Chip Race. Hosted by Irish pros David Lappin and Dara O'Kearney, the radio show style presentation usually focuses on a special guest while weaving in relevant topics of the day.

Both presenters are successful players in their own right and clearly know what they're talking about when it comes to the poker industry, but yet they manage to keep the shows light-hearted and fun to listen to.

Sponsored by Unibet Poker, The Chip Race is the best poker podcast to listen to in 2021.

#2 Brandon Adams

High stakes player Brandon Adams has spent the last year working on his new YouTube podcast, and looks to have settled upon a simple formula.

His no frills approach relies solely upon inviting interesting guests and having an interesting conversation. There are no efforts to produce a studio effect here, it’s just Adams sitting at his desk speaking to people we want to know more about.

In recent months we have seen Doug Polk, Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, and Ben ‘Sauce123’ Sulsky, all of whom provided an entertaining episode. Hopefully, with all of his contacts in the high stakes poker world Adams will continue to produce many more great shows throughout the year.

#3 The Red Chip Poker Podcast

Red Chip Poker produces a podcast that has become one of the best earning resources for poker. Hosts Robbie Strazynski and James “SplitSuit” Sweeney do a mixture of interviews with characters from the poker world and some high-level strategy that will turbo-boost your win rate..

To get some idea of what we can expect to see during 2021, there are six year’s worth of past content to browse through. We have no doubts that The Official Red Chip Poker Podcast will remain one of the best podcast choices this year.

#4 The Weekly Poker Showdown with Jaime Staples

The Weekly Poker Showdown is all about the biggest issues in the poker world. Top Twitch streamer Jaime Staples speaks to various well-known characters from the game and dissects what has been going on lately.

The show is run on the partypokerTV YouTube channel with regular episodes added every month since the pilot aired late 2019.

Staples has bags of experience in front of the camera after all those hours streaming, making it easy for him to give the podcast a polished appearance.

#5 The Rake Podcast

The Rake Podcast is a magazine style gossip show hosted by poker players Jamie Kerstetter and Marle Cordeiro. Each week they invite a celebrity from the poker world onto the show to discuss what’s been happening in the poker world.

The show is aired on the Run it Once Youtube channel, where you can browse through an 18 month back catalogue.

There is no shortage of poker royalty appearing on the weekly show, so don’t miss out and give them a shot in 2021.
