Venom Fever Returns to Americas Cardroom with $5 Million Guaranteed PKO

The action is hot at Americas Cardroom this October where Venom Fever has once again struck in the form of a massive amount of freerolls, satellites, and step tournaments leading up to the $5 million guaranteed Venom PKO that begins with the first flight on October 20.

ACR players are already securing their seats to the huge progressive knockout tournament that features a buy-in of $2,650. Half of each buy-in goes toward the prize pool, while the other half is reserved as a bounty on each player's head.

This marks the fifth iteration of the Venom PKO and its the largest progressive knockout tourney in the history of online poker.

Venom Fever kicked off on October 2 with 1,000 seats guaranteed. Satellites start at $32. Players can also work their way up through On-Demand Steps starting as low as ten cents ($0.10). There are also Blitz Steps and Skip tournaments.

You can hop in at any step and climb your way up to earning a seat. Keep in mind that the Venom PKO allows for re-entries, so winning additional seats is permitted. Add a bullet or two to your arsenal, if you so desire.

The $5 milly guaranteed prize pool is likely to be shattered as it was earlier this year when 2,872 entries came out to play, boosting the prize pool to more than $7 million. The winner took home $814,498 via $503,318 in prize money and $311,180 by knocking out players and collecting their bounties.

The satellites, steps and freerolls will run all month right up until the fourth flight on Sunday, Oct. 30 (Day 1D). There are mega chances to win a seat to the Venom PKO at a fraction of the buy-in price.
