The Winning Poker Network (WPN) continues to attract players worldwide, including the U.S., and some of those players peppered network CEO Phil Nagy with questions the other day.

As has been done previously, Nagy headed a Q & A on Twitch.tv during the running of the high stakes "The Cage" event mid-week. While the $5,100 buy-in cash game was in progress, the WPN CEO talked about current happenings at the network.

Those happenings include the Online Super Series Rematch that kicks off on February 13. A full 63 events are scheduled, promising more than $2 million in guarantees. The MTT action will run for 10 days and offer a wide range of buy-ins.

The big daddy of the OSS will be held on the last day of the festival on Feb. 22 - the Winning Millions. Many will recall that the previous Winning Millions in December that featured a $1 million prize pool and $200k guaranteed to the winner was cancelled due to DDoS attacks.

Nagy talked about the attacks and stated that his IT staff has been hard at work at doing their best to prevent such hacks in the future. He did point out, however, that even big companies like Sony are susceptible as well.

Players can buy-in to the Feb. 22 Winning Millions for $540 or perhaps enter for a fraction of that amount by winning a seat at WPN skins such as Black Chip Poker and Americas Cardroom. Players who haven't yet done so can click on the links and sign up to either of those poker rooms through PokerTube where a 100% up to $1,000 bonus awaits, as well as 27% rakeback and PokerVIP coaching and rewards.

Following the Winning Millions, WPN will offer satellites to gain entry to the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas in July. The WPN CEO mentioned the likelihood that as many as 50 seats will be made available for poker's most celebrated annual tournament.

Another topic discussed was WPN's "The Beast" leaderboard rake race that is fully funded by the network and "free money" for players who manage to make the top of the list. To be implemented soon will be a similar promo for lower stakes players.

Just a few days ago, WPN added Bitcoin as a payment processing alternative across the network. Deposits are accepted at this time and Nagy indicated that the functionality of processing withdrawals in the virtual currency will be available very soon.

The webcast featuring the WPN CEO concluded after just over an hour. Incidentally, when The Cage NLHE event concluded after four hours, 'RescueGeniefromReno' had the most chips, $24,495. He topped the 36 players who entered, 21 of whom still had chips to play with before the time clock reached 0:00.

The next "The Cage" event is set for February 18. That falls in the middle of the OSS that runs from Feb. 13-22.
