Winter Online Super Series Starts this Week on ACR

ACR’s latest mega-guarantee tournament series kicks off later this week. The Winter Online Super Series (WOSS) starts on Saturday with 17 days of action scheduled for the run up to Christmas with a whopping $24 million in guarantees laid on.

$24 Million GTD

The action across the 17 days will include multiple main events and some games that aren’t usually found in an ACR series. The three main events have seven-figure guarantees and two of them are multi-flight tournaments.

• $630 buy-in $1M GTD: Dec 3rd/4th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 5th plays to completion
  
• $215 buy-in $1M GTD: Dec 11th/18th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 19th plays to completion
  
• $2,650 buy-in $2M GTD: Dec 11th/18th (Day 1s), Day 2 on Dec 19th plays to completion
  

The multi-flight events have as many as 58 Day 1’s to make sure that no matter what your time zone there will be an opportunity to get stuck in.

Across the 148 events scheduled, players are going to see a bunch of extra formats they possibly haven’t even played before. Not to worry, though, because the vast majority are probably in the same boat.

The addition of 5-card PLO into the mix is something to get excited about, particularly for the less experienced players. PLO has the craziest swings out of all the games and when you add that into a tournament it gives everyone a chance to run super hot and stake their claim for the top prizes.

This is the first time this game has appeared in 18 Online Super Series editions and both events have a $100,000 guarantee.
