It’s really good to know that poker players have big hearts behind their often expressionless poker faces and there is a big number of players always involved in charity events.

In the last 2 days, Borgata Poker Open featured two charity events, with one honoring long-time friends of Borgata Poker and the poker world in general, and the other from the newly formed Charity Series of Poker. Champion of CSOP event is Amanda Musumeci (TheRealMander), professional poker player from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her total tournament winnings are $831,260.

Winner of 1 Million dollar Guaranteed Tournament - anonymous Sergio Vigano

Sergio Vigano hails from Santo Andre, Brazil. The Brazilian claimed the trophy and first-place money in the event 10 at Borgata Poker Open. All started with pocket nines- the hand that fared well at this Poker Open. Vigano takes home $ 168,875 and this is his life-changing win. Before this win, his total tournament earnings were only $12.000 and coming into the final table with a below average stack nobody expected the Brazilian currently residing in Marlton, New Yersey to make much of an impact, but how wrong they were. Congratulations Sergio!
