WPT Partnership Agreement with Georgian Europe-Bet.com

World Poker Tour has been working hard lately to reinforce its global presence. Through agreements with several companies located in different countries and on different continents, WPT officials were able to secure some deals that should see the brand become known in the areas where its presence was lacking. The latest such a deal is the one with Europe-Bet.com.

According to the yesterday’s press release, WPT has entered a partnership agreement with the Georgian company, which should see this Europe-Bet.com play a host to three World Poker Tour events in 2015, including the Main Event.

The things should kick off on June 4 in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, with a $1,100 WPT National event featuring a $200k guarantee. The Main Event will take place in November, and finally, in December, the World Poker Tour will return for another National event.

Europa-Bet.com Poker Club will host the players for all three events as it is the only facility with these capabilities in Georgia. Opened in 2012, with 1,400 square meters area, the club should be able to offer everything that is expected of a WPT event.

Adam Pliska, WPT President, has once again expressed his satisfaction with this recent development, reiterating that it marks the continuation of the Tour’s expansion, with an intention to grow it like never before.

A former Soviet republic, Georgia has grown to become a place to visit for many tourists for their unique offering combining snow-covered mountain peaks, beautiful, diverse architecture and rich selection of wines from 8,000 years-long tradition.

Those who decide to take part in the first edition of the WPT to take place in Georgia will thus have an opportunity to enjoy in much more than just poker.
