Amaya Receives Gaming Licenses in UK

Head of Corporate Communications Eric Hollreiser was very pleased to be able to make this announcement, as the licenses are a guarantee that all three brands will be able to offer their services in the UK, a country that represents one of the biggest and most important markets for the online gambling industry.

There are numerous prerequisites that need to be met before a company is issued the gaming license, some of them being financial stability and history, game integrity, security, responsible gaming policies, technology etc.

Another thing that the UK Gambling Commission pays special attention to is the protection of players’ funds. PokerStars and Full Tilt both apply the highest standard of funds’ protection and this helped the great deal with the issuing of the licenses.
