Full Tilt's new Poker Player Ambassador, Marc Kennedy, provided an update on the Full Tilt Blog as to how his position is going so far, as well as mentioning a few things that players should expect in the future.

As most readers are likely aware, Kennedy is a former Black Card Pro who revealed in late July that he accepted the newly created Player Ambassador position at Full Tilt and will act as a liaison between FTP players and management. As such, players are encouraged to take their beefs and gripes to Kennedy, and he in turn will pass them along to the bigwigs at Full Tilt.

Kennedy admitted to being overwhelmed by all the attention he received in the media after his new role was announced. The news of his hiring was covered in a handful of languages, a testament perhaps to the worldwide appeal of poker.

I believe that the huge number of articles written about Kennedy also reflects on the originality of the position, as Full Tilt is making a bonafide effort to listen to the concerns of players. Lest we not forget that Kennedy also seems a highly suitable choice for the role, his resume showing that his knowledge of the workings of Full Tilt is extensive, and with a player's perspective to boot.

The congratulations and well wishes received by Kennedy were very much appreciated, he stated, adding that:

"It really gives me the passion and motivation to do as much as I can during my time with Full Tilt and show them that I can live up to that hype."

Let's hope that Kennedy feels the same way after a few months on the job. Listening to the complaints of players is bound to get tedious. Hopefully, those players who contact him will provide a bunch of good ideas for change that can perhaps be implemented at the site, rather than just loading Kennedy's Twitter account or inbox with expressions of discontent.

Kennedy has been streaming on Twitch and players are encouraged to follow him there. He can be found on Twitch streaming every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:00 a.m. UK time. On Saturdays, click over to the same channel from 1-4 p.m. Apparently, Kennedy has revealed some insights about playing poker that have caused a few player bankrolls to rise. He stated that passing along such tips to players is "what I really enjoy about the Twitch streaming process."

Players in Ireland can meet Kennedy in person at the Full Tilt International Poker Open in Dublin in October. He can also be reached at 2 + 2 where he posts as 'Sparky999.' Via Twitter, you can contact Kennedy @PlayinWitDreams.

Full Tilt's Player Ambassador mentioned that he will soon be meeting up with the Full Tilt hotshots "to discuss all the feedback you have given me so far about what you think we are doing well and what you would like to see us do in the future." Got any more ideas or concerns? Tell them to Kennedy so he can pass them along.
