Currently the biggest online place for Open Face Chinese games, Tonybet Poker, has released the schedule for their second OFC Grand Prix Series. Taking place from April 26 to May 3, the Series will award more than €30,000 in guaranteed prizes over 17 scheduled events.

Last year we were the pioneers of online OFC poker and most of the things we did were done for the first time ever. Despite that, both online and live events received very good remarks from our players, which gave us the confidence to continue the good run

Tonybet’s initial efforts last year have been a success, on live and online front alike. The first live OFC World Championship which took place in Prague last December was sponsored by the room and continuing on that success, they are expecting even bigger things in 2015.

For the online Series, the number of events has been increased from 12 to 17 and the overall prize pool was bumped with an extra €5,000. The room representative explained that there will be different leaderboards running, for tournament and cash game players alike, awarding them with the tickets for the Series and even sending some players to the live World Championship.

The buy-ins for the Series will range from €10 to €500, so all the OFC fans out there will be able to find something for themselves. Two flagship events are certainly the €5k guaranteed Main Event and the €6k guaranteed High Roller. The Main Event will feature a buy-in of €200, while the High Roller will cost €500 to enter and is likely to attract some OFC sharks.

The majority of the events will be Pineapple, with one Turbo OFC event and several events featuring the newly introduced variations: Progressive OFC and 2-7 Pineapple. The full schedule for the series can be found on Tonybet official event page.

The spokesman for the room also stated that there will be numerous promotions running simultaneously with the Series and fifteen players will be sent to the live World Championship as well. All in all, there will be plenty to compete for during the Grand Prix and this is a rare opportunity for all the OFC players, big and small alike, to put their skills to the test.
