Topping the field in the $400 Deepstack Extravaganza at the end of January for more than $12K prompted Jeff 'Boski' Sluzinski to aim for a repeat this month.

That MTT victory was his second in 2017 and fifth in less than three months, a phenomenal run that hasn't gone unnoticed by vlog watchers and poker websites. Boski's poker talents have now been properly recognized as he announced at the beginning of this vlog that he has secured a sponsorship deal "with a major poker website."

Sluzinski has promised more details regarding his new deal on an upcoming vlog. Kudos to Jeff and to whatever website managed to land this rising poker star and vlogger who is clearly on a course to soon take his game to another level and play some larger buy-in events.

Can't Bluff a Fish

Vlog watchers may have sensed another Boski victory in the making when he managed to double up on a full house over an opponent who flopped a set and eventually also made a boat on the turn, albeit smaller than Jeff's. To be honest, I was gearing up for at least a final table appearance after Sluzinski took that pot down.

But several forces were in play that were destined to derail the aggro MTTer. One particular fishy player couldn't let middle pair on the flop go, riding it all the way past fifth street and the attempted bluffs of Boski, scooping a 22,000 pot.

A flopped set allowed Sluzinski to recover, but the same fish turned out to be quite the nemesis in this event, almost single-handedly sending Boski to the rail. I say "almost" because a mild rant toward the end of the vlog let viewers know that Jeff was bothered in several other ways while playing.

Can't You Smell that Smell?

The body odor of tablemates, another player touching his leg against Boski's under the table, and one player's friend standing behind Sluzinski (perhaps signaling his hand) and railing his buddy were all annoyances that apparently ruined the ambiance or poker-playing environment.

"The air that I breathe is valuable and it won't be compromised due to your negligence," ranted Boski, who admitted to having no trouble telling people when they are being offensive to him or others.
