25-year old Pennsylvanian Ott is one of the ‘amateur’ half who made it to the 2017 WSOP Main Event final table, 14 years after watching Chris Moneymaker’s epic run to the title back in 2003.

With only two very small cashes to his name, both at the 2017 World Series, Ott is one of the lest experienced players in the field, coming to Vegas for the first time because he finally had the cash for some buy-ins after a successful start to the year playing online cash games under the name ShippItTY, and making huge waves with his deep run which has guaranteed him $1milllion.

His 69th spot in the $1K Tag team event was secured with his team-mate, brother Dylan, whom he credits with winning all the chips during their event. His mother and sister joining the boys in Vegas to rail Daniel at the final table.

Sitting 5th in chips entering day 1of the final table, there is a very good chance that he can make it to the final 6 on day 2 if his luck holds up and he plays the same way he has for the first 7 days. His dream, of course, is to take down the title just like his boyhood poker hero Moneymaker.
