Describing himself as a 'golf fanatic who occasionally plays poker', it is fair to say that Daniel Buzgon is being modest. The New Jersey native has spent the last decade playing poker more or less full-time, racking up a bunch of scores along the way. A greater portion of these winnings have come from the online world, where Dan – going by the name 'WiLDmAn75' on PokerStars and Full Tilt – is closing in on almost $3,000,000 won through MTTs in a ten-year period. In this time, he has won two WCOOP titles, a number of further final tables in the same series and big cashes in the majority of Sunday majors. His largest online score actually came in the 2011 FTOPS Main Event, where Buzgon outlasted 5,064 other players to finish fifth in the $600 buy-in tournament for $321,433.

Daniel also regularly plays on the live tournament circuit, particularly in US-based events. In 2015, he won his first WPT title in the $400 No Limit Hold'em Borgata Million for $194,509. He also has two WSOP circuit event wins to his name – both coming in 2017 – along with a staggering 36 cashes in WSOP summer events. His largest live score actually came in an event where he finished third – the 2011 WPT $3,500 No Limit Hold'em Championship Event at the Borgata Poker Open for a big prize of $335,433. His live winnings pooled together over the last nine years make for a total of more than $1,700,000.

On August 3rd 2017, Buzgon celebrated perhaps his most cherished achievement to date – his first ever hole-in-one on the golf course after more than twenty years of playing the sport. Hats off to him.
