Austrian-born tournament regular Heinz Kamutzki came up in the game through the world of online poker. Starting back in 2006 – the golden era of the online scene – Heinz quickly grew his bankroll and became a household name after winning one of the biggest online events going. In November of 2009, Kamutzki A. K. A. ‘zhivago2’ on Full Tilt took down the FTOPS Main Event to win $418,839 – over 780x the $535 buy-in in a field that had more than 5,000 runners. Across all of his online accounts, Heinz has put together more than $1,500,000 in MTT earnings between 2006 and 2016.

The rurally-raised Heinz has simultaneously balanced his online career with a number of live tournament outings. His successes include an APPT title in the $2,000 No Limit Hold’em Six-Handed event, one EPT final table and another WSOP one. Although he hasn’t been able to get his hands on a bracelet or major title as of yet, his live tournament earnings of $1,000,000+ are enough to show that he’s a force on the circuit.
