Massimo Mosele

Born and raised in Torino, Italy, Massimo Mosele is a poker pro better known as ‘MAXSHARKKK’ in the online world. You might not think it given his age, but Mosele’s main focus is online play where he’s made well over $1,000,000 specialising in sit and go’s and more recently Spin & Go’s on PokerStars.

There has been a lot of speculation by players whether or not it is possible to profitably grind the Spin & Go format given how much rake is taken to create the large multiplier prize pools. However, Mosele’s consistently winning results at them are proof that it certainly can be done. In an interview with AssoPoker in 2016, He did concede that winning the big multiplier prizes when they come up is really important:

‘Winning at the tables without ever taking a multiplier of 25 is by no means easy . . . winning Spin & Go’s is difficult for several reasons: fast structures, few chips and lots of variance . . . in order to beat them long-term, you have to have a profound knowledge of the ICM and the heads-up game’.

In addition to his online winnings, Mosele has enjoyed some success on the live tournament circuit. This includes a final-table finish at the 2015 WSOP and multiple top five placements in IPT events on home soil.
