Noah Schwartz

Born August 1st, 1983, Noah Schwartz is a professional poker player who has seen success in online and live poker.

So many poker players have different life stories that set them apart from the rest. Although they mostly have a common denominator that they have been successful in poker, the details of how they got there differ from one to another. Noah Schwartz, born on August 1, 1983, started playing poker in 2001.From the very first time he saw the cards go up in the air, he was determined to succeed. In fact, this determination was so strong that he came to be known under the online handle “4Uhaters” because there were many who knew him claiming that he would fail. He wouldn't have it. After winning the $200k on Party Poker, his poker adventure started to shape into a serious business. At this time he has also changed his Party Poker alias from “4Uhaters” to “Noahstredamus” so that people wouldn’t recognize him. It did not take long before he managed to seize the title in the Poker Stars' Sunday Million together with nearly $295k in prize money. He recalls how he managed to get home just in time for the tournament as he was away at his friend's wedding and had to drive four hours to be able to play. Some would call it fate, others luck, but whatever it might have been, it started Schwartz’s climb to the poker fame. He still remembers the key hand from that tournament when they were down to 27 players where he decided to lay down KK to the chip leader’s 4bet shove. Poker did not stand in a way to his education. Always committed to everything he tackled, he graduated from Florida International University, with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurship, allowing for the safety net, just in case. He also believes that this formal education served as a great background and played an important role in his overall poker success, especially the ability to crunch numbers quickly and correctly in his head. That said, he also values intuition and instinct a lot and tries to capitalize on his opponents’ weaknesses at the tables. Apart from the green felt, Schwartz enjoys traveling, meeting new people and learning about new cultures whenever he has time. He also participates in several help programs through which he tries to give back to the community. His biggest live tournament scores include 1st place in the WPT Jacksonville $3,500 event for over $400,000, as well as third place finish in $10k WPT L.A. Poker Classic worth $355k. His total winnings stand at nearly $4 million. Amongst other successes from his truly remarkable poker resume, it is also important to mention that he holds one WSOP bracelet that he received after taking down Event #6, Mixed-Max PLO, during the 2013 WSOP Europe. He had numerous appearances on televised tables, and many of them can be found in PokerTube videos’ sections.
