Vitor Coelho

Florida-born Vitor Coelho is best known for his poker achievements on the WPT circuit. In just his second live tournament cash ever, he won his first WPT title at the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event at the Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City. The six-figure score gave him the confidence to travel nationwide for his poker pursuits.

In 2016, Coelho won a second WPT title in Hollywood at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown where he was rewarded with another $100,000+ in prize money.

Funnily enough, Vitor’s biggest MTT cash to date actually was in a tournament he didn’t win – the 2011 $10,000 WPT Championship Event in Las Vegas. A notable step-up in competition with the likes of Antonio Esfandiari, Connor Drinan and Andrew Robl among the field, the Tampa native was not deterred by the quality of his opponents as he outlasted all of the above and was awarded $159,224 for his fifth-place finish.
