Kenny Hallaert from Belgium was fourth in chips when the WSOP Main Event got down to the final nine players - the November Nine. 34-year-old Kenny hails from Hansbeke in Belgium and is one of the most experienced players among the finalists that will return on October 30th aiming for that World Champion bracelet.
Some of the best results in Kenny’s career came in EPT Deauville in 2011 where he finished 6th and last year’s WSOP Colossus event, finishing fifth. He also ran deep last year in the Main Event ending in 123rd place. Kenny is also an accomplished tournament director and best friends with Dutch poker pro Steven van Zadelhoff.
In this interview Kenny tells us about his way through the seven long days leading up to the final table, some key hands, his thoughts on preparing for the final table and that right now he is just enjoying the feeling of achieving the biggest dream for any poker player - making it to the November Nine!
