The Eureka Poker Tour in Vienna arranged a High Roller tournament with a 2,000 euro buy-in that attracted a record 455 player field. Coming into the final table, there were two poker pros, Niki Jedlicka and Eugene Katchalov, with more experience than their opponents. They managed to reach heads-up where Jedlicka had a slight chip advantage of 5M against Katchalov’s 4.1M. Since it was late and they both were about to play the EPT Vienna Main Event nine hours later, the decided to postpone the heads-up until Tuesday night at Hofburg Palace. After a four hour battle, Eugene came out the winner and in this interview he tells us his thoughts on his first win in more than three years, how he has matured as a person and poker player and what his near future looks like.
