12th Spin & Go Millionaire In a Year

Yet another millionaire has been made in PokerStars Anniversary Spin & Go promotion. This is the 7th this month and 12th overall since the format was introduced last year, with another waiting to be confirmed!

With six of the fantastic promotion millionaire winners landing their jackpots in the same week, the lull of the past few weeks has been broken. Most recently, the Canadian player ‘Koovoon’ scooped the massive windfall in a $100 buy-in tournament.

‘Samara Lúcio’ from Brazil was the first of the PokerStars anniversary winners, her $1 million coming from just a $5 tournament, the same as ’prophethicks’ from England, ‘handbt1,’ from Germany and ‘ifipushud325’ from Australia.

‘Koovoon’ joins ‘wrawras’ from Brazil and ‘barrakuuda4’ from Estonia who landed their huge payouts from $100 buy-ins in the 3-player hyper-turbo format events which have caused a sensation in the poker world.

As with all the other winning Spin & Go millionaire games, the second and third place finishers were also well rewarded. This time it was ‘AndyG1810’ and ‘Play2win$1kk’, both from Russia, who won $100,000 apiece.

The tournament, number 1,387,275,374, lasted only 9 minutes and 39 hands, with ‘Koovoo’ running the show for most of it after doubling up with pocket Jacks on the 7th hand.

The final hand of the tournament saw ‘Koovoon’ shove his stack in with A♣ 4♦ which was called by ‘AndyG1810’ holding K♦J♠. When the flop came 2♦ A♥ 6 ‘Koovoon’ looked set to land the $1million and with the turn 3♣ and river 6♠ both missing the Russian, the lucky Canadian did just that.

Sporting the Florida Gators logo as his avatar– the intercollegiate sports teams that represent the University of Florida – ‘Koovoon’ may soon be joined in the millionaire circle by yet another lucky punter. However, this last winner is unconfirmed as yet, so watch this space!
