Itâs not difficult to see why Full Tilt want to promote their poker client on the popular platform â the number of potential âreal-moneyâ new members drawn into the world of online poker could be huge â and Steam currently has a very limited poker offering available.
âThis would be a big PLUS for Steam !!â was NeVeR_Eireâs view on the Steam discussion thread. âIf you have ever played on Full Tilt you would know that there software is much better than any other Play Money poker site like Zynga.â

Internet discussions often serve no real purpose as we all know â descending into love it or hate it affairs â but on Steam things work a bit differently. They operate a âGreenlightâ system, whereby the community decides which software will be released on the platform.
Discussions - followed by voting yay or nay - are the norm, and Full Tilt will be looking to persuade the Steam following of the merits of adding their poker site to the myriad other games available for download.

âOther poker sites will be watching this move closely and Iâd bet a significant amount of money that if Full Tilt successfully makes it through the Greenlight process others will followâŚdirectly leading to bigger prizes and a bigger metaphorical slice of the pie for everyone.â
Full Tilt arenât exactly shy about their desire to appear on Steamâs downloadable listings.
âAs one of the worldâs leading online poker rooms, weâre proud to offer a truly authentic gaming experience. Enjoy the ultimate in high-speed poker at a Rush Poker table or take on just two opponents in our Jackpot Sit & Go Tournaments.â
Whether this comes to fruition or not remains to be seen â and in the hands of the âSteam faithfulâ â and if you want to join in the voting process, signing up âis free and easyâ.
