Amaya announced today that the 11th running of the PokerStars Micromillions will begin in mid-July on the 16th and run for 11 days, promising to pay out $5 million over 100 events.

With buy-ins as low as $0.11, online poker players on tight budgets as well as recreational players aiming for some fun and a shot at a championship, typically come out in droves for the series at the industry's most popular poker room. Since its inception in 2012, more than $82 million has landed in the accounts of MicroMillions players who finish in the money.

The flagship tournament of MicroMillions 11 is the $1 million guaranteed Main Event that gets underway on July 26 at 14.30 ET. Featuring a buy-in of only $22, the Main Event is a terrific opportunity to win some life-changing money without risking very much in so doing.

Team Pros are Ready

"You can compete with thousands of players across the world and make a nice score investing only a few dollars," said Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki. As a former MicroMillions Player of the Series winner, Horecki knows of what he speaks.

You will find Horecki at quite of few of the 100 MicroMillions events, along with other PokerStars Team Pros such as Fatima Moreira de Melo and Ivan Demidov. Team Online Pros expected to also be seated include Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew, Caio Pessagno, Liliya ‘liay5’ Novikova, Mickey ‘mement_mori’ Petersen and Felix ‘xflixx’ Schneiders.

Players who enjoy a wide range of formats will be in their glory during MicroMillions 11. Progressive Super-Knockout, Turbo, Hyper-Active and Bubble Dash are some of the games featured.

Phase One

For the first time ever, a Phased event is also on the schedule. It's Event #1, a $75,000 GTD at a $1.10 buy-in. Phased tournaments call for different flights to be played at different times, permitting players to choose the date and time that best suits their schedule.

Flights for the first event have already begun and will continue until the opening day of MicroMillions 11 on July 16 when Event #1 will start with the 2nd Phase for all players who made it past the first flight. Make sure that you play a Day 1 flight of Event #1 at PokerStars before July 16. Re-entries are permitted, so take a couple of shots at Day 2 for only $1.10 if need be.

Leaderboard Prizes

The top 100 players throughout the entire 100-event MicroMillions 11 are in line for prizes awarded for being the best on the leaderboard. That's in addition to any prize money won in the individual events.

First place wins six months worth of free Sunday Million entries. That's 26 weekly tournaments at $215 each - a value of $5,590.

The 2nd through 9th place MicroMillions Leaderboard finishers each win five Sunday Million buy-ins - worth $1,075. And places 10-100 will be able to play in one Sunday Million for free.

Although the buy-ins for MicroMillions events are already low, satellites are being played now for players to take a chance on winning entries for even less. The satellites can be entered for as little as 1 FPP.

MicroMillions is the most popular online poker tournament series the world over. Mark your calendars for July 16-26.
