Poker Heaven to Close November 12

A decade of hosting online poker action has come to an end at Poker Heaven, as the site has announced that its virtual doors will be shuttered on November 12, 2015.

All player funds are safe and players are encouraged to withdraw their account balances ASAP. The Poker Heaven website will be available for withdrawals until November 19.

Players who fail to withdraw by Nov. 19 can still do so after that date by sending an email to [email protected] with details pertaining to their account. However, cashing out prior to then is strongly encouraged.

The player loyalty program has already stopped extending benefits as of Nov. 1. All loyalty payments have been tendered. Players with tournament tickets in their accounts must use them prior to Nov. 12.

Poker Heaven cited "increased market regulation across Europe and other environmental factors" as the reasons behind the shutdown. Players seeking a new poker home are being prompted to make a transition to Betsafe.com, a poker room on the same Microgaming Poker Network and with identical software as that of Poker Heaven. Betsafe is offering special incentives to those who make the move.
