After Paul Bell, director of an online gambling company 666Bet was arrested in connection with the fraud and money-laundering, 666Bet has had its license suspended by the UK regulators. Even though the Gambling Commission said that suspension doesn't prevent the company from returning balances, the customers are still unable to withdraw their personal funds from the operator. In order to get their money back, angry users have launched an online petition on site Change.org.

When Paul Bell was arrested, police officers have raided 13 properties and seized £1m in cash. It is believed that six more people linked to the money-laundering fraud were arrested.

After his arrest, it didn't take too long for The Gaming Commission to suspend the license of 666Bet. Although they have promised that no one will suffer financial loss, customers of online gambling company are still waiting to get their money back.

Benji Wernberger from Birmingham has created petition describing 666Bet as company of thieves. Thousands of customers fear that they will lose thousands of pounds and that online gambling company will never return their money.

After Bell was arrested the company stated that police investigation is not related to 666Bet activities in the gaming world and that no one will suffer any financial loss. However the company's site is still offline and it doesn't provide any information to its customers except that the site is under maintenance due to the unexpected circumstances.

The petitio,n that already has hundreds of supporters, states that money belonging to individuals, ranging from £5 to £60,000, is being withheld and that people have been denied the opportunity to withdraw the money.

Last week the company has sent a public statement saying that the customers will be paid when they get appropriate approval from the UK Gambling Commission. However, although the UKGC has already given them a permission to return balances. this is yet to happen and the petition claims that the company probably stole their money.

Supporters of “Give us Our Money Back” petition and customers whose funds are frozen with the operator are willing to fight in order to get their money back. Liam Mawdsley, one of the customers, has said that the Gambling Commission doesn't want to help and that customers of the online gambling company are left in the dark.

However, spokesman for the Gambling Commission said that people who use online bookmakers do so at their own risk and that regulators can't return their funds. Spokesman also explained that there is no guarantee that customers will get all their money back if company has had some financial issues.
