Guests at Resorts World Casino in Queens have witnessed a massive brawl on Friday night at the grand opening of casino's Fat Tuesdays daiquiri bar. According to the casino worker, everything started with two women who were arguing and subsequently dragged their friends into the conflict while they were waiting for drinks in a very long line.

Conflict between the guests soon escalated into a massive fight involving at least two dozen people who were throwing chairs and punching each other. A disturbing video of a brawl which was posted online showed people shouting, grabbing poles and chairs while security guards were trying to calm down the crazed guests.

A witness told CBS New York that it was horrific to watch the fray without knowing what will happen next. She explained that chairs were flying everywhere and that the whole situation was nerve-wrecking.

Four security guards got hurt as well as the police officer who suffered a hand injury while trying to control the Friday night fray. Police said that around 300 people were present at the time of the incident and that only few reported injuries. Police has explained that at the moment, it looked like only 15 or 20 people were fighting while others were simply trying to get out of the way.

A casino spokesman said that this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and that security of their guests is top priority. They have promised that to do everything in their power to prevent incidents like this one. The police estimated the damage at $2,000 after the brawl but the Resorts World Casino officials have said that the damage is minimal.

After the Friday night incident, Andrew Rivers was arrested for disorderly conduct while Jovan Bovell faced the same charges along with resisting arrest. Marcus Stewart was issued summonses for disorderly conduct. Bovell was released without bail and charges against him will probably be sealed if he stays out of trouble for six months.

The judge has decided to toss the disorderly conduct charges against Andrew Rivers who already had warrants for drinking alcohol on the street and disorderly conduct at the time of his arrest.

It is not the first time that something unpleasant had happened at the casino which was opened in 2011. Six months after the opening, thief managed to steal $63,000 in cash and in November, a man followed 88 year old gambler from the casino to his house and stole $1,000 that the man won as the prize money.
